WHAT DOES FIBER MEAN TO YOU?
In the relation to textiles techniques, a fiber is for me something unfinished, a raw material that need to be formed or fashioned to something more complete.
WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE FIBER OR TEXTILE TECHNIQUE?
Print in any shape or form. Even if my work is multi-disciplinary, some kind of print is generally included. I have no favorite material/fiber as the idea and concept inform my choice of materials. It can be anything from cloth found in a jumble sale, to stones found on a beach. I have lately included long threads more and more in my pieces.
