Studio Supersju is a brand new weaving group, founded in the autumn of 2016. The members have graduated from Sweden’s best textile schools: The University College of Arts Crafts and Design,; Friends of Handicraft and the Swedish School of Textiles in Borås. To launch their concept, Studio Supersju will be guesting Fiberspace from the 20th to the 23rd of April in a pop-up shop.

Despite different backgrounds, expressions and goals, the group has textiles as a common denominator and see many advantages in merging. “Although the design and art world rewards competition, we believe in the power of being inclusive!” The group is made up of Siri Pettersson, Miriam Parkman, Josefin Gäfvert, Mirjam Hemström, Ia Center Hall, Arianna Funk and Vega Määttä Siltberg.
