The Geometrist

The Geometrist

Welcome to this special workshop organised by Miro Burman in collaboration with TNA Design Studio from London. The Geometrist is a system to make models of polyhedra and introducing further structural adventures in paper. Using a simple method of folded paper strips and glued corners, it provides outline polyhedral structures, which allows one to enjoy these three-dimensional forms more clearly than in surface models.

During the workshop, we will learn the basics of the system for geometric shapes, then make our own paper objects with instructions from Tomoko Azumi, founder of The Geometrist, via Zoom. (The workshop is held in English.)

- Date: 18th May
- Time: 18.00-20.00
- Workshop leader: Tomoko Azumi (TNA Design Studio London) via Zoom
- Price: SEK 530 (incl. VAT)
- Place: Fiberspace, Katarina Bangata 40

Proceeds from the workshop will be donated to an aid agency for Ukrainian refugees in Sweden.
