Textile Art Symposium 2

The second in a series of textile art symposia organised by Svenska Vävakademin will occur on the 6th of November 2019 at New Karolinska hospital in Solna. The focus of the symposiums is to discuss the current and future situation, terms and conditions for textile art in the public realm. This time with particular focus on textile art in health care facilities. The presenters include Martin West, project manager for Region Stockholm, artist Miriam Bäckström, artist Leyun Wang, author Mailis Stensman and to discuss fire safety, Björn Andersson from Brandbolaget. The panel discussion will be lead by Fiberspace’s director, Marcia Harvey Isaksson.
