Faber Futures is a London-based Design Futures R&D studio working in the realm of Living Technology, or Biodesign. The studio's research and creative endeavours are driven by a desire to develop, prototype and question resilient systems of manufacturing and design-making through the convergence of life science technologies and design craft processes. Fiberspace is pleased to have recommended the founder, Natsai Audrey Chieza, for an artist residency with IASPIS which she received. We look forward to our up-coming collaboration!

Cia Eriksson is a fashion designer whose designs aim to raise interest through detailing but not distract from the silhouette of the garment. During Fashion Week Stockholm, she will be launching her new collection for AW 16/17 at Fiberspace, 1-7/2. The collection focuses on the correlation between shapes, linear techniques and structural materials.

Katarina Brieditis and Katarina Evans started the Re Rag Rug design project as a way of experimenting with rug making techniques using upcycled industrial and domestic textile waste. Their aim is to explore the social and ecological sustainability of the rug.

Loop is a spatial laboratory experimenting across the fields of design, architecture and the sciences. The studio was founded by Mathias Gmachl and Rachel Wingfield to form a new creative practice that reaches beyond specialist boundaries. design and fabrication of ephemeral textile architecture and living environments.

Anton Alvarez is a Swedish-Chilean artist who combines technology, craft, design, architecture and art. Using his uniquely constructed thread-wrapping machine, he binds together wood, plastic and metal without using nails, screws or other traditional assembly methods. Only a thin thread covered with glue from the wrapping process holds the pieces together. Ingenious!

Silo Studio a design collaboration between Attua Aparicio and Oscar Wanless. Their experimental "handmade hi-tech" approach to the design process has them exploring the possibilities that the normal production line misses. Fiberspace loves their textile moulded glass and objects.

The Institute for Computational Design (ICD) and the Institute of Building Structures and Structural Design (ITKE) of the University of Stuttgart have constructed a new research pavilion. The project is part of a successful series of research pavilions which showcase the potential of novel design, simulation and fabrication processes in architecture.

Lina Sofia Lundin is an artist and educator who's artistic practice is an investigative process where textiles, clothes, food and spatiality are important. She has written a book, Naturlig Färgning, about dyeing fabrics naturally with compost and other food stuffs.

Dutch designer, Merel Karhof's beautiful bracelets are wind-knitted and made from natural dyed wool, both poetic and eco-friendly.
